CBA's panel of experts will provide an overview of the interchange provisions with detailed discussion on the following:

  • The impact of the Durbin amendment on debit and prepaid interchange
  • How the Federal Reserve may approach regulating debit and prepaid interchange
  • The impact the Durbin amendment will have on banks of all sizes. 
  • Issues relating to debit exclusivity arrangements and merchant discounting. 

The panel will take questions from attendees at the end of the presentation.

About Our Presenters:
 KAUFMANKarl F. Kaufmann's practice focuses primarily on regulatory and legislative issues affecting financial institutions, with an emphasis on retail banking. Kaufmann focuses on issues pertaining to privacy, payment systems, consumer loan products and consumer bankruptcy.
 

Jeffrey A.
