How to Become a Corporate Member

Communicating retail banking goals and objectives to Congress and the general public is a major part of CBA's charter and challenge. Since its founding in 1919, CBA has provided innovative leadership and proactive government relations support for the retail banking industry to Congress and to regulators. CBA continues to be on the cutting edge of retail bank products, issues and consumer trends through its sponsorship of national conferences, workshops, our Graduate School of Retail Bank Management, and research for the leadership of retail banking.

Today, cross-industry mergers, consolidations, growing competition, and technology play a major role in retail banking, making it more important than ever that bankers network to share concerns, objectives, and goals. Representatives of banks and thrifts meet to develop important legislative and regulatory policy.

Bank product managers and executives of retail banking generate educational programs to improve the skills of their product and department leaders. Diversified financial companies attend our conferences to compare marketing issues.
