CBA's Automobile Finance Committee represents the banking industry's leadership on issues affecting bank indirect auto lending, leasing, and floorplan finance. The Committee has been at the forefront of identifying technology issues revolutionizing the financing and manufacturing of personal vehicles. When Federal Reserve staff needed hands-on expertise in revising Reg M, consumer leasing rules, they got it from Committee members. The Committee made its mark when it aggressively challenged the captive sector’s use of subvention programs.
