DAILY REGULATORY REFORM UPDATE
July 15, 2010

Moments ago the Senate successfully voted to end debate and move forward to a final vote on the Dodd-Frank financial regulations reform bill. The vote was 60 to 38 - a minimum of 60 votes were needed. As expected, Republicans Susan Collins (ME), Olympia Snowe (ME) and Scott Brown (MA) were ‘yes' votes. Democrat Russ Feingold (WI) was the only Democrat to vote against the measure.
