This week I am at Furman University in Greenville, SC to attend the CBA/BAI Graduate School of Retail Bank Management.

This afternoon I'll have the opportunity to meet with the Junior and Senior GSRBM students and will take the podium to talk about CBA's core objectives and recent efforts to advocate in Washington on behalf of the retail banking industry.

GSRBM freshmen will hear from US Bank’s Kurt Treu on Earnings Management (day 2 of 2). The juniors are hard at work learning the ins and outs of retail banking in their Market$im communities, and this afternoon will continue their leadership training with Laurie Callahan from Wells Fargo.

The senior class is also continuing their simulation learning in their Bank$im communities where they are beginning to implement their Mergers and Acquisitions knowledge from Bank of America’s Abhi Mehta.  This afternoon they will hear from Nancy Bush, a top banking analyst, before they wind down this evening at the Senior Dinner and celebrate their upcoming graduation.
