Enhancements to Retail Bank MarketSim

The enhancements to the Retail Bank MarketSim banking simulation (developed by Novantas) will further put the focus where it belongs -- on the customer. This updated version of the industry’s only simulation based on customer behavior provides:

  • Enhanced marketing decisions where not only will budgets be set, but now allow for dollar allocations across multiple media selections, giving students the feel of developing and executing complex marketing plans.
  • “War gaming” current decisions being made in executive suites everywhere – when and where to open or close branches, when to replace tellers with ATMs or when to make the investments to provide full service. No area in banking is going through more change and scrutiny than the restructuring and rationalization of Delivery Channels.
  • Testing more alternative strategies in a competitive environment. Like the real world, success can be had through a well-balanced controlled growth model as well as category killer and boutique strategies.
  • Enhanced reporting capabilities that reflect the realities of the marketplace, as well as allow for variable game situations of as few as two and up to nine banks.
