Government Relations Council

Under the guidance of CBA's Government Relations Council, CBA addresses the issues at the forefront of the financial services industry. As the voice of retail banking, CBA advocates on behalf of its members, representing their views on Capitol Hill and with the federal banking regulatory agencies.

As the financial services industry has been undergoing dramatic changes, CBA has greatly increased advocacy efforts. New initiatives to expand opportunities for CBA members to directly communicate with and educate lawmakers are underway, including a grassroots program to facilitate member outreach to elected officials and bringing key executives to Capitol Hill. By expanding our legislative focus with the goal of educating and influencing lawmakers on Capitol Hill, CBA is positioned to solidify our role as the voice of the retail banking industry.
